Jess was born and raised in remote outback Australia, completely disconnected from anything to do with the world of entertainment and pop culture. She discovered her gift of writing as a coping mechanism for schoolyard bullying and teenage depression when she finally decided to fiddle around on the family’s old dusty piano. Her talent as a singer was soon noticed by her community, as she begun to perform at public events. After high school, she went on to study music at the prestigious Gold Coast Conservatorium, for three years. Upon graduating, she travelled the world playing shows throughout England and across Europe,

eventually settling in Los Angeles after a stint in Vancouver, Canada.

During her time in Vancouver Jess won several live performance awards. Some achievements included 1st place in Vancouver’s Cellar Launch Project against 50 applicants. She later then won the Nationwide Rising Star Contest against 150 contestants, which earned a performance spot in Canada’s largest music festival; Squamish Valley Music Festival.

When you are born with a voice like Jess Edo, it’s only natural to craft a career in music. Her songs slide effortlessly from soft introspective folk ballads to soaring soulful-roots choruses, while retaining the pop

sensibilities that have created some of radio’s biggest stars. Her progressive pop tunes resonate with moody, climactic piano hooks and candid lyrics.
